Volkers and mine profile patch kind of relies on the difference. I had some issues with
printing time stamps on STDOUT so they are output to STDERR instead. However, for
timing purposes I totally ignored the standard build output (both OUT and ERR) and
just parsed the stamps. If you can keep the profile stuff working with no extra effort
(except for knowing it) go ahead. Otherwise just ignore it and we'll rework in case
it's needed.
