Hi,
My name is Andras Timar. I am the project owner of hu.ooo. I would like
to create a production build (a Hungarian OOo) with the free Visual
Studio 2005 Express. I know that there are limitations, e.g. ActiveX
plugin will not compile and CLI-URE bridge is broken. I can live without
these. I would like to ask you about Mozilla.
Building Mozilla 1.7.x with VC8 is not possible. The precompiled mozilla
bins can be used. However, these were compiled with VC7.1. Do VC7.1 and
VC8 produce ABI compatible code? Has anybody tested this? Am I right
that I have to include both MSVCR71.DLL and MSVCR80.DLL in the install set?
Thanks,
Andras
the msvcr80.dll will not be included into the install set (#i71630#,
ooo-wiki). The mozilla address book integration works, if you have a
msvcr71.dll in your path and will be packed into the install set (#i72016).
