Not sure whether I got you right, but the best for the system as a whole is always that OS that is missing/underrepresented or difficult to get hold of for the other developers. Linux is easy to setup, almost every developer either works on linux or has access to a linux box. So adding a linux bot is not that urgent. But of course every supported platform should have a buildbot that can generate complete installsets at some time. Having more linux bots of course helps as well to be able to build more cws in the same time. The most important one in my opinion are Windows buildbots, since on the one hand building there takes long, many devs don't have a build environment on Windows (not the full version of MS Visual Studio) and on the other hand, there are many windows users that could install and use a buildbot provided installationset. > and it's accessable for veryone. Again not sure what you mean here. It doesn't need to have shell access for anybody. It is accessible to everyone via the buildbot webpage, that is all what is needed. > currently, we have two staff working on this matter for both linux and > windows platform. I would have some advises. So just ask your questions/post your remarks :-) ciao Christian --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
