Me too :-) what is missing from Jens-Heiner's summary above is the
commitment not just to re-evaluate DSCM within a year of when the ESC
decided to move via svn to a DSCM (ie. in rather fewer months now ~9
months?) - but to actually move to a DSCM at that time.
ie. svn is a stop-gap measure until we can re-run the evaluation of
which DSCM to choose. Personally I regret the decision to re-run the
evaluation at a later date, and have an intermediate step. I am certain
that moving straight to git would have been a better path: but - then
Heiner is actually doing the work so ... :-)

No doubt you'll find something like this at go-oo at some stage - if
you want to help maintain that & get it setup nicely, we can certainly
give you access to get involved [ that would be cool ]. If so, please
contact kendy (CC'd) privately.

Michael.
