Hello, I'm now preparing a new system to build OOo 3 So far, here's what i have done fresh installation of XP Professional + SP 3 Install .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 Install Windows Server 2008 SDK 6.0.6001.18000.367-KRMSDK_EN.iso (06. March 2008) Install Visual Studio 2008 Express Install Cygwin + PERL Modules from CPAN All the additional files needed are downloaded and placed correctly Install Ant 1.7.1 Install JDK 1.6.0_11 Grab the OOO-Dev300_M37 (the latest version yet)
The last thing i need to know is which DirectX SDK version should i use? (Summer 2004, the one i used to build OOo 2 or the newer August 2008 version)? There is a warning on the OOo site: Current (as of 2008/01) versions of the DirectX9 SDK and Windows Platform SDK do not fit to each other. To be able to build with DirextX enabled, you need to patch one file in the Platform SDK.
