I think its good to separate core and extensions. If extensions are distributed with mercurial, they are as bugfree as possible. They could even be enabled by default, however I do not think that would be a good idea as one of mercurials features is that its interface is so simple in the basic config. > You are at Sun, while I am just a community member. I took part in the pilot just like others did and provided feedback just like others did. The final decision is with RelEng, and rightly so, as they do most of the heavy lifting (merging and repo administration is the critical part with any DSCM).
