I am working through the Jira backlog this week and trying to make the asks as
consistent as possible. I want to start adding “Labels” to each item as they
are created.  The new overview
dashboard<https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/Dashboard.jspa> has a list of
all keywords used to date in alphabetical order.

Label Standards

  1.  Use all lowercase
  2. Use underscore for space (vs. a dash)
  3. Try to use existing key words where practical
  4.  Example Labels
     *   Filenames: remap.config, cdn.conf
     * Code Tools: carton, goose, lua
     * CDN Terms: invalidation, purge, cache-control
  5.  Generic Words
     * If a keyword is too generic to be meaningful add a prefix that will
help group them
     * Since many of the API end points are generic like “servers” I am
adding an “api_” in front of these, for example “api_servers”
