with 6k objects, Inktomi benchmarked TS on a 4 core CPU with 2.5GB RAM
and 74GB disk at about 1,000 QPS. So, taking Moore's law into
consideration, 10 years later, that'd be
1,000 * 2^ 5 == 32,000
That's pretty darn close to what we benchmark in our labs, using ~4
modern Intel CPUs.
