One last thing, since 'ink_sprintf' is broken(?) can we fence it off(#ifdef
?)/mark it for removal in the code i.e. indicate that is deprecated for
removal. Just in case somone see's the fcn and tries to use not knowing it is
broken.
Also if you think there are other fcns that are broken we should probably do
something similar also.
