Hi all,
time to tally the votes. Option #4 is the winner. This means, effective
immediately, we are switching over to CTR for trunk, and RTC for all
release branches. I encourage everyone to do the "CTR", i.e. pay
attention to commits that interests you, and/or affects your area of
work. CTR still means everyone has the power to -1 a commit, if it is no
good, lets get it out / fixed.
Also, CTR does not mean that trunk should be a flaming pile of crap.
Make sure you test your commits, if you are unsure of something, ask for
a second opinion or test run before committing.
