Hi all, Woohoo, we released v7.1.0, thanks everyone for all the hard work!
Going forward, to keep making excellent 7.x releases, I’d like everyone to help out with the Milestones and Projects management. In particular, I’d like you all to do the following: 1. All PRs should continue to be marked with a 8.0.0 milestone, since that is what current master is. 2. If you have a serious issue, that you feel should go into 7.1.x, please add it to the 7.x project, and make a comment on the PR why this is a candidate for 7.x, and which version(s) of 7.x it should go to. Don’t change the Milestone (i.e. leave at 8.0.0). 3. If you have a new (or significantly modified) feature that you feel really should go into 7.x, add it to the 7.x project as well. But in this case, make an even stronger argument why we need this feature to go into the 7.x release. In this case, we’ll consider it for the a TBD upcoming minor release (e.g. 7.2.0). 4. Of course as usual, make sure to keep all labels, Milestones etc. correct on all PRs. If you close a PR without merging it, please remember to remove the Milestone completely. Cheers, — Leif
