I'd like to propose deprecating parent.config with ATS 10.1. Allow this to continue through the 10x series and then remove it with ATS 11.x in favor of strategies
Strategies has been considered production ready for many releases now with parent waiting to be deprecated so this seems like a good time to do that so we can get people moving over to strategies. Current Parent Docs: https://docs.trafficserver.apache.org/en/latest/admin-guide/files/parent.config.en.html Current Strategies Docs: https://docs.trafficserver.apache.org/en/latest/admin-guide/files/strategies.yaml.en.html This would give users the rest of the 10.x version to start moving over to strategies
