Thanks for your interest in building Trafodion. We do log everything and there should be information in the logs that indicate the problem Go to: .../incubator-trafodion/core/sqf/logs and check the logs. They should give you an indication of the problem.
Some interesting logs: master-exec...log: reports SQL events mon.snmp.yyyymmdd...log: reports monitor events startup.log: reports Trafodion startup operations trafodion.dtm.log: reports transaction errors wdg.20151029.00.07.40.dev01.0.18928.log: report watch dog events Check your system limits. Some of them may need to be increased or Trafodion will not start.
