Hi Qifan,

The HBaseClient should be in one of the following jars:

trafodion-sql-2.2.0.jar
trafodion-sql-apache1_0_2-2.2.0.jar
trafodion-sql-hdp2_3-2.2.0.jar

I see the following in my env:
$ jar -tf trafodion-sql-2.1.0.jar | grep HBase
org/trafodion/sql/HBaseClient.class
org/trafodion/sql/HBaseClient$ChangeFlags.class

If a 'jar -tf' on the above jars do not show an HBaseClient class, then most
likely there is some build issue.

Thanks,
-Narendra

Subject: Re: Getting class not found error on latest Trafodion

Hi,

I experienced the similar problem with EsgynDB2.2 today. It looks like the
HBaseClient class is not present in any of the jar files built, and
trafodion-sql-cdh-2.1.0.jar is not there.

I reinstalled the local hadoop, rebuilt everything, sqgen, sqstart. Also
ran ilh_traf_restart.

Just wonder if trafodion-sql-cdh-2.1.0.jar should be built for the latest
esgynDB2.2?

Thanks --Qifan
