The change that exposed the charset failure is on trafodion master branch and
not on traf R2.2.
Are you seeing this failure on 2.2 jenkins build? I didn't see that.
Could you please confirm.

There are three outstanding kinds of failures in R2.2 branch, this charset
issue is also occuring in R2.2, so Anoop, please also check into R2.2 branch
once you figure out the root cause and fix it.

I also encountered the "drop table t014b cascade in charsets regressions tests"
hang while testing in my workspace. The drop table is hanging due to corrupted
query cache. The change for [TRAFODION-2722] removed the following lines, but
removing these lines is the right thing to do. Otherwise, the query cache was
getting emptied with every ddl.

obscure bug. Till such time, we find the resolution to this bug, it might be ok
to disable charsets/TEST014.

The jdbc tests have fixes coming in.
1. for an intermittent issue with too many opens. PR is already open for it.
2. The DDL for the JDBC tests need to be fixed. This is being addresses.
PR 1217 has an expected file change for the hive test failure too.
