Hi, I asked on the Spark dev list for support in reviewing the Spark training material from TRAINING-17.
Sean Owen has some concerns[1] about whether it is a good idea to accept this material at all. As I don't understand all his points yet I'll refrain from summarizing them to not misrepresent him. This might be interesting for others to read (or join in) as well.
