As I have been using the HEAD revision for quite some time I agree to
release this as-is, *however* two (friendly) formal remarks (I have been
bitten by these, so take them as good advice)
- The NOTICE file is missing from the source- and binary package as well
as the JAR.
- Signatures would have been nice
