well - only in the good old days but nowadays
+) you need to provide md5, sha1 and pgp signature for everything
(otherwise you get friendly reminders)
+) you have to make sure that the jars find their way to the m1 and m2 repo
+) you have to make sure that the distributions find their way to
http://www.apache.org/dist/turbine/fulcrum/
Currently most of the things are manual tasks - I would like to automate
them with an m2 build otherwise a single release takes half a day
