I see a lot of plugins and their versions defined in the POM. Is it actually necessary to override those from the Apache Parent POM? Would it be possible to give a on-line reason per plugin why the version of the parent is not sufficient? We talked about a Turbine Parent POM recently. If we changed all fulcrum. prefixes to turbine. prefixes, wouldn't that simply do it? I mean: what about releasing this as Turbine Parent POM?
