Hi Thomas, after examining more closely the new Fulcrum Security component, the method checkPassword seems to be missing.
It has been removed from the Turbine class SecurityService (org.apache.turbine.services.security.SecurityService), but I could not find it anywhere in the new Fulcrum Security classes. It is deleted without replacement? If not, I would expect it in org.apache.fulcrum.security.UserManager...
