Wojtek Janiszewski commented on TUSCANY-2468:
---------------------------------------------
Jean-Sebastien,
I'm stuck on those transaction and security tests. Could you be more specific?
Any tips?
Is it really possible to have those tests outside EJB components? Remember that
CORBA service binding acts as standalone application. Correct me if I'm wrong -
I'm newbie in advanced Java enterprise stuff.
Thanks,
Wojtek

> In addition to host-corba-jdk, I'd like to have a host-corba-jee module for
> use in a JEE environment.
> That module should just get the ORB to use from JNDI, as follows:
> javax.naming.Context ctx = new javax.naming.InitialContext();
> org.omg.CORBA.ORB orb =
> (org.omg.CORBA.ORB)javax.rmi.PortableRemoteObject.narrow(ctx.lookup("java:comp/ORB"),
> org.omg.CORBA.ORB.class);
> This should work on all JEE servers, including JEE webapp environments.
