Some confusion on my part was caused as I think I have some rogue Eclipse project files hanging around. However I've removed the tuscany-binding-http-runtime dependency from node-launcher-equinox and thinned down our minimum list of modules by excluding the following also. implementation-resource implementation-resource-runtime data-api I expect when we come back to looking at the HTTP stuff these dependencies will probably look ok.
