It's a good idea Luciano, and I will prefix my postings at least until we get down to a single active development stream.

I do agree with Ram though. I would like to see [2.0] [1.x] and [1.4] prefixes for various development and use issues. And use no prefix for items that are common to all (e.g. wiki, web site, advocacy, etc.).

Sounds like a good idea to me too, but I wish to have the 2.x also prefixed
as I have not been
able to be in touch with 2.x development for sometime and might want to use
the prefix to follow-up.

May be we could continue to prefix 2.0 until end of the year. Thanks.

We currently have three threads of work progressing (1.4, 1.x and
2.x). I noticed that it might be difficult for people to realize what
email relates to what. In order to help improve that communication, I
propose we do the following :

NO Prefix is needed for current 2.0 ongoing discussions target to trunk
[1.x] would identify discussions for the OSOA code base (our 1.x branch)
[1.4] or given release number would identify discussions for a specific
release
