The OASIS Assembly specification introduces some cases where there is a need to
test interfaces for equality rather than "compatibiity" (see the section on
Composite References which do not declare an interface).
As a result, there is the need for a new method to check "equality" rather than
"compatibility" in the InterfaceContractMapper interface and its associated
implementation class in the interface module
