I have added this component to JIRA.
+1 for making the travel sample part of the 1.x trunk.

Putting this under tutorials/travel makes sense to me. The other
option is to put it under samples, but this seems less appropriate
because the samples directory currently contains a number of much
smaller samples that illustrate specific aspects of SCA rather than
how SCA is used in a realistic application.
