I have committed the third stage of the fix for this under r895599. This
provides a complete set of working build.xml files for all the subdirectories
under the travelsample directory.
With this commit, the "compile" targets of all the build.xml files in the
travel sample complete successfully. However, some of the launchers are not
running correctly and I am investigating these issues.
