Yep, good description of the kind of thing it could be here [1]. A couple of things. What's changed recently? Also is it just the one test or is it the result of running all the tests. As you say, tricky to tell.I can comment out the failing module and see if that gets a clean build on Hudson. Not sure that tells us much though.
I'm just watching the open handle count on my Windows box as the build progresses and the top level Java process running the main Maven build hovers around the 500 mark.
