I'm successfully using : eclipse-jee-galileo-SR2-macosx-cocoa.tar.gz

Two things that might come to mind:
   mvn eclipse:add-maven-repo

Or if you are reusing an old workspace, and you had the source in a
different location, you have to manually change the M2_REPO variable.
