Having wasted another chunk of time with Mike trying to fix a classloading issue I realize that the various techniques that are used in the runtime are not well documented. I've made a start [1] by just creating rough notes of the patterns I know about. Would welcome everyone's thoughts about whether there are other patterns/issues that are not mentioned. Then we can create some documentation.
