Please, to avoid flooding our mailing list, please use the "bulk

cleaning up these invalid/obsolete JIRAs.

As it turns out i agree with that. I don't find anything useful about
having so many close emails on the dev list now, there's far to many
for anyone to notice one they may be interested in and its a pain
having to delete all the emals.

If you raised a JIRA or have added yourself as a watcher of a JIRA
don't you get sent an email when its closed anyway, so is there any
other reason we might want these bulk close messages on the dev list?

I coudn't see any way to deselect email notification when doing a bulk
change yesterday to close out some JIRAs that I had raised.

Yes, I was wondering if we need to be Admin or not to do that. But, if
this is a limitation of JIRA bulk operations, I'd rather leave the
JIRAS in a fixed state rather then moving to closed.

I just closed 11 issues that I had opened and are now fixed. I was able
to deselect the email notification during the bulk change process.
Apparently this is possible for Admins but not for others.
