What version of the Microsoft .NET Framework do I need? 1.0, 1.1, 2.0?
None.
What other software or tools do I need?
It'l be easier in OOo 2. Assemblies are automatically installed in GAC when installing OOo (provided that the framework is installed).
I've tried the UNO-CLI add-on to the OpenOffice 1.x SDK at one time, but I never could get it to work.
I also heard it was written using Managed C++.
Correct. So, this would not let
it work with other CLI implementations, such as, Mono.
Yes, Mono does not work. C# would have
been a better choice.
Would anybody be willing to work on a C# version of UNO-CLI that could run on .NET and other CLI implementations, such as, Mono? This would allow it to work on Linux, Windows, Mac OS X, etc...
That would be great. Good luck. Joachim
