Last question for the moment on databound gridcontrols.
I have a Basic function that is setting the CharColor of a given column
in a grid. I would like it to be the cell, but will settle for the
column at this very moment.
GridControl.Model.CharColor = <some color value>
Now..using the Xray utlility I can see that the value actually changes.
But the same kind of problem I am having with ComboBox controls. Nothing
shows up on the screen.
I suppose what I am asking now - Is this just not doable?
I realize this is version 1.0 of the Base module, but this is pretty
basic data entry screen functionality. I know also that in the past OO.o
was really geared towards data sources supplying information to
documents, not data entry applications. But ...did this not change with
the introduction of Base?
If I can't do it in Basic, then will switching to Java solve my problem.
I can do that, but I was really hoping to get this level of interaction
done in Basic.
Really looking for some help here.
