Hi, indeed microsoft removed support for exporting makefiles in VC2003 and later. I have yet no good idea, how to do a python build now, I saw that support for vc6 is still there (which can generate makefiles), but I don't know, if everything works with it ... (and you would need to adapt them to the new compiler).
