OOo3 is out since 2 weeks. It comes with Python 2.3.4. OOo3 canceled
Python support more or less as you can see in several topics of this
list. For personal use you may apply some workarounds [*]. I prefer to
stick with v2.4. You can access MySQL by means of the office-API.
Connect a Base document to the respective database, load that document
and use it's current connection to run SQL.
