Hello my name is Frederick Wessling
Please allow me to start by saying how much I enjoy openoffice and use it almost everyday.  It is the only office suite I use at home and on the road.

A thought just occured to me a few minutes ago and I thought I'd bring it to your attention.
What is one of the biggest highlights of Mozilla-based browser (other than security and Cross platform availability)?  The ability to do tabbed browsing.  Would it be at all possible to have a tab for documents in OpenOffice?
I don't know much about how the interals of OO work but, atleast from what it appears the base of the office suite is universal to all front-ends thus presumably making it possible to have tabs that could span document types e.g
Tab1 containing a text document that is a report
Tab2 containing a spreadsheet that you're pulling the data for the report from
Tab3 containing a presentation document that you're making regarding said report in Tab1
Also this would help reduce the amount of open windows I would have to go through when
using ALT+TAB.  True I could use CTRL+TAB to switch between desktop BUT unfortunetly not all OS GUI's have such abilities.   Even if tabs can't span document types if you're working on several documents of the same type it would still be a great improvment IMHO.

Also I would suggest to make it familure key-combination ALT+PgUP / PgDWN
But that key binding might be used by another process say the GUI for some other reason.
Thus I also suggest if possible allow the user to change the Key-combination but have it default to ALT+:PgUP/PgDWN. Also it's fits with the OpenSource Free as in Freedom (of the user to control what's going on in their computer).  Also the tabbed viewing feature could be disable if a user doesn't want it for whatever reason.  The tabs don't have to be overly large just large enough to list their file names.

One more thing occured to me and has occured to alot of other people I have talked to.  We would like to see some CLI interperter for ODT formats at least the text files.  Because I have some blind friends who cannot use OpenOffice due to accessibility and would just like to be able to render the odt text files in the console.  Much like antiword renders .doc files

Also great job on the imporvments in the PDF output wonderful.

Thank you for your time.
