Hello all,

we are testing 'Regular Expression Annotator' and 'CFE Annotator' from
SandBox.
Once we have performed several tests with both of them, we are thinking
of making some little changes in order to obtain further functionalities.

In the case of 'CFE Annotator', we'd like to improve the window
attribute. We think it'd be interesting to have a dynamic window,
depending on some established pre-condition. For example, from a given
annotation, "keep looking to the right until you find certain
annotation type or null". We don't know if it'd be an easy modificaction to do.
Maybe
CFE Annotator developers have also think of that and somehow they are
going to develop it anytime. We neither know if this modificaction would
follow the CFE annotator philosophy, but we think it'd make CFE
Annotator more powerful.

In the case of 'Regular Expression Annotator', we've found it is a great
tool, but looking at the window attributes on CFE Annotator, we miss
this feature in Regular Expression Annotator.

Our question to both 'Regular Expression Annotator' and 'CFE Annotator'
are, how difficult would it be to perform these modification in each of
these tools? Did you already have in mind these new features? These new
features would follow the philosophy of each tool?

If we were to carry out these modifications, would it be possible that
you provide us with some kind of technical documentation of each tool,
in order to make a good implementation of these new features?

Thanks in advanced.
