CVD does not warn user about over-writing an existing xmi file
--------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: UIMA-1866
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/UIMA-1866
             Project: UIMA
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Tools
    Affects Versions: 2.3C
            Reporter: Philip Ogren

I use the CVD on a weekly basis for inspecting XMI files. Every so often I
select the file menu option "Write XMI CAS File" by accident when I meant to
select "Read XMI CAS File". Unfortunately, the dialog that comes up when you
select either of these options looks exactly the same except for the title
which I invariably ignore. So, I go about navigating to the file I want to
open, select it, and then instead of reading it into the CVD it writes out the
current contents of the CVD destroying my XMI file. It would be really nice if
it would prompt me asking "this file exists, are you sure you want to overwrite
existing file?" - or something to that effect.
