Thanks, I see the problem - it's a left over "SNAPSHOT" in the parent pom that should have been switched to the non-SNAPSHOT version.
I'll override this in the uimaj (and other) project-local poms. I guess I missed this because the snapshot repo at Apache kept (for a while) the 1-SNAPSHOT version of this jar, but I see now when I go look there, that the Jar has been removed.
