Richard Eckart de Castilho commented on UIMA-2012:
--------------------------------------------------

Seems to work for me as well for the import-by-location case.

It would still be helpful if the CAS Viewer would also look up import-by-name
via the Java Build Path and Java Dependencies of the project containing the XMI
file if it is a Java project. Do you want to open a new issue on that as you
already want to close this one?

> When opening a XMI with a type system that imports other type systems (by
> location), the editor displays an error. This problem occurs, if XMI contains
> data of types that are specified in the imported type systems. May be related
> to UIMA-2011.
