Oh, the type system cannot change? I have a use case where this can happen easily. Sometime in future, I really like to have this functionality :-)

I always thought a TypeSystem which is returned from a CAS object cannot change until a user calls the reset
method on the CAS. I am mistaken?

You are of course correct. My use case would be: You opened a cas with the editor and a type system. Then the file is replaced with a CAS built on a different type system. The editor should of course create a new cas with the other type system.
