Hello,I see that many Apache projects have an official git mirror (http://git.apache.org/), it would be nice if UIMA could have one too. It's much faster to get a copy of the repository with git clone than having to use git-svn clone.
Having the git mirror also allows forking on Github, etc. which might make developing patches easier for some people. Btw, OpenNLP is missing from the list of mirrored projects, too.
