Right now, the top-level pom activates the maven-deploy-plugin for the build
distribution profile and sets assembly.attach to false. This solution was
chosen, because the source assembly was uploaded to the staging repository and
no binary distribution was intended. Now the bin.xml is added, which activates
the profile. The project should now use the common approach specified in the
parent poms.
