Mind that you need to explicitly disable the sending of mails on one
of the bulk-change wizard pages, otherwise the spam catapult will
just continue to work nicely ;)

P.S.: Since Apache Jira does not allow updates to closed issues,
it may be a good idea to leave issues in "resolved" until a release
is complete, or possibly just indefinitely. Otherwise any closed
issues in your filter will prevent bulk updates.
