The SM will update the log directory specified in registrations to append the
registration ID at the end with a distinctive "S-" string. The result will be
a second level of log hierarchy containing and organizing the instance logs
relative to the registration ID. E.g. for service 123, the instances are
grouped under <logpath>/S-123/instance1, <logpath>/S-123/instance2, etc.
