Hi, I finally found I'm needing a method introduced in Java 7... So I'm thinking of making the lowest level of Java UIMAJ runs on in the next release to be Java 7.
I looked at the "support plan" for JAVA on the web, and it appears that Java 7 "public" support ended in 2013, but there are "private" releases still being made for security things, etc., to customers who buy support, perhaps. Wikipedia has a table here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Java_version_history Anyone think we should delay moving our base Java version requirement to 7? -Marshall
