Currently, the UIMA-AS supports two serialization methods for remotes:
1) XMI
2) Binary
There are two additional serialization methods supported by UIMA SDK:
- binary compressed form 4
- binary compressed form 6
The compressed form 6 does not require identical type systems on both ends
while the form 4 does. Consider adding support for both in the UIMA-AS for
remote services.
