The UIMA Ruta code follows some patterns which lead to high memory pressure
(i.e. objects getting created at a high rate leading potentially to hit memory
I/O boundaries when scaled up on machines with many CPU cores).
As part of this issue, some of these patterns are investigated and can
hopefully be fixed.
