Richard Eckart de Castilho commented on UIMA-6288:
--------------------------------------------------

I believe this should be rolled back for uimaFIT 2.6.0. For uimaFIT 3.2.0, the
code has been changed to align with the annotation predicates in the UIMA Java
SDK and those say that an annotation that ends at the same position as a
zero-width annotation is seen as preceding that annotation.

> selectPreceding using zero-width anchor returns covering annotation

> uimaFIT's selectPreceding applied to a zero-width annotation returns a
> non-zero-width annotation which ends at the same position as the zero-with
> annotation.
> However, a zero-width annotation on the edges of a non-zero-width annotation
> should always be considered to be covered by the non-zero-width.
