Dear Richard,
i still cannot succeed :(
My project was working perfectly fine. I wrote an annotator class and an
aggregating descriptor to involve the WhitespaceAnnotator and the Tagger addons
to achieve token and sentence annotation. Additionally i exported the xmi files
using code provided in the documentation.
After trying to integrate ruta, which was not working with my previous setup i
updated everything. Now (since weeks) i tumble from one error to the next.
Current state:
-uima examples descriptor working
-uima addons from svn, maven build, working after several adjustments in the
poms
-i can create my type system descriptor without errors
-the analysis engine descriptor throws ResourceInitialzationException because
the own class cannot be found even though present in the project and can be
selected in the descriptor editor, same for my project.
-for the aggreagation of the WhiteSpaceAnnotator i now get the error Invalid
Descriptor, method handle.type() null pointer, when i use JCas Generator, the
created classes show more errors, before i invest more time i wanted to ask,
whether there are know issues?
-I tried everything up and down, classpaths, java versions, uima home, ...
