Thanks for asking the question! Please note that comments from the board displayed either in Whimsy's Board Agenda tool, or in the Reporter tool, are merely informational; they don't require a reply. I've submitted a patch to the Reporter tool to clarify the header there.
If the board has a question for a PMC that requires (or even hopes for) a specific reply, a director will email the PMC directly and make it clear that a response is needed.
